Call for Entries: Autumn Art Show Pop Up & Sale at Devonshire
The Forney Arts Council (FAC) is now accepting entries for participation in the Autumn Art Show Pop Up & Sale at Devonshire on Sunday, November 17, 2024! 2D & 3D visual artists in the Forney and greater Dallas/Ft. Worth areas are eligible to participate! Devonshire is a thriving master-planned residential community inspired by the English countryside located north of Historic Downtown Forney. This is a family-friendly event so all artwork should be suitable to be viewed by all ages.
Art Show Event Hours: Sunday, November 17, 2024 1:00pm-6:00pm
Location: 1201 Ravenhill Road, Forney, Texas 75126 (Devonshire Meeting House)
How to Apply: Please fill out the FAC Art Show Application, Release & Waiver Form and submit by October 18, 2024 at 11:59PM. All applications will be reviewed and approved or denied the week of October 21, 2024. You will be notified via email of your application status. Space is limited and the event committee reserves the right to choose the best artists suited for this event. Upon approval of your application, you will be emailed a payment link and will have 3 business days to complete the registration process. The registration fee is $40. Art Sales: The Forney Arts Council will NOT be taking a commission on artwork sales. Artists are responsible for their own sales and should plan to have someone with their artwork during all hours of the show. There is no WiFi so we encourage artists to use their phone as a hotspot. Artists are welcome and encouraged to sell prints in addition to their featured artwork.
Display Instructions: Artists will be provided an 8x8 space to display and sell their artwork. Artists will need to provide their own tables, chairs and other display equipment. The venue has a limited number of 6 foot tables and chairs. Artists are welcome and encouraged to do small art demonstrations throughout the event day.
Artist Set up Time: Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Artist Tear Down: Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
